Description

The 94 mile Wonderland Trail circumnavigates Mount Rainier, the most prominent peak in the contiguous states. The mountain is the centerpiece and namesake of the 5th oldest designated National Park in the country. It towers over the surrounding landscape. Longmire is the traditional departure point for the Wonderland Trail. However, numerous other trailheads exist in the park as well.
